The link to the Dadamah doesn't work; I checked the HTML code of the page and there are asterisks, percentages, and other extraneous characters in the link. It should be: This Is Not A Dream - Dadamah - Recensione di philosopho
Sonic Youth Rather Ripped

mmm, at this point I think I'll stick to the Sonic Youth I already know. It seems to me that what they had to say they already said in the '80s. Or not?

I'm missing something... anyway, compliments on the review. I only have the first 5 Sonic Youth albums (up to Daydream Nation), but I must say that your review really encourages me to explore further. What do you think, can I jump straight from '88 to 2006?
Labradford Mi Media Naranja

Well done, great review. The album by Dadamah (the second in the Kranky catalog) is another wonderful record; I would say Montgomery is the other flagship artist of this label. I'm quite intrigued by Labradford; what do you recommend for a starting point?
Kraftwerk The Man Machine

Don't take it personally, TwiggyTrace; it's just that people are a bit annoyed by the fact that there are avalanches and avalanches of bad reviews drowning out the good ones. I don't mean to say that yours is bad, but maybe you could have polished it a bit more before sending it out. I take this opportunity to remind you to listen to Neu, bye.

I've never listened to the album; I have the first four by Kraftwerk, and the one I like the most is definitely the first. The review isn't bad, but there are certain things you could have spared us (like: "a stylish move to put the 'title track' at the end of the album," well, what's so stylish (and original) about that?). If you like Kraftwerk, I highly recommend listening to Neu, who are their distant relatives but in terms of genius, come from another planet.

Look, last night I couldn't sleep thinking about the same things...
Dinosaur Jr. Where You Been
Voto:
I'm sorry to say it because Dinosaur Jr is a band I admire, but Where You Been is a boring and self-satisfied album of generic melodic indie rock. Moreover, Mascis's voice here is so annoying and deliberately lazy that I can hardly stand it. The guitar work is occasionally spectacular, but nothing that hasn't already been done in previous albums (or by Crazy Horse). I don't know.

Never heard them mentioned (as always) but they seem very, very interesting. New job for the mule!
