@Burns/Salmacis: Schwingungen is more "beautiful," as they say. The titular one, however, is much wilder and hallucinatory, so I prefer it. Anyway, the immense chord progression at the end of Suche & Liebe is a wonderful thing beyond any limits.
@zigghio: I think that the Ash Ra Tempel of this debut are more visionary than Can, definitely crazier. Let's say they're more tied to "classic" psychedelia but have taken it to extreme consequences; few bands have reached these levels. In fact, I would say that when it comes to raw and unfiltered psychedelia, they are perhaps the greatest of all time. You find me in agreement on Amon Duul II, although I listen to them less willingly.

I don't know, but in any post-punk, post-hardcore, and noise record from the '80s, I can hear a bit of Pere Ubu. In fact, maybe in any alternative record from the '80s. To say they were influential is almost an understatement...
