I don't know Pale Horse Sailor, I'm trying to download it to give it a listen. I only judge June Of 44 based on "4 Great Points" (that's the only one I have), so I might be wrong in my judgment :)

No, no, it doesn’t work. "Successfully trying to untangle that intricate knot" is fine. But "in the impossible attempt," how does that fit in? How do you contextualize it? Let’s untangle that intricate sentence! :) (I realize that this criticism of mine is at least futile)

Unfortunately, in my extreme ignorance, I don't know the story of the Gordian knot; I was referring, however, to a purely grammatical fact: "search successfully" for what? The object complement is missing! :)

Yes, a bit né... but the "ultra-electrified and vaguely stoner heaviness," the "wah-wah electric bursts and amplifier buzzes," and those other things are always there, you know. The album might seem really high quality from your description, but I would dare to say that it doesn’t strike me as anything shocking.
