The review is nice, for me it's too long and a bit lacking in flow, but those are personal tastes. The cover is absolutely hideous! :)

PS: the new wave is from the late '70s, in the '80s there is only a hint of it (more or less until '81). Then it’s clear that in Italy it arrived later.

Well, in my opinion, that's just fluff. The 80s are the decade of post-hardcore, noise, niche bands, SST, industrial, shoegaze, "do-it-yourself," and so on. All stuff that wasn’t there before, nothing but disco dance fluff.

Brianza di Bestia is the pretazzo, I've discovered you! As for the story Zen Arcade vs. Double Nickels, I know that the Minutemen in '84 already had an LP ready titled just "Double Nickels." Then, having learned about the Huskers' work, they recorded another twenty songs (it came easy to them) and turned it into a double LP, adding "On the Dime" to the title.

No no, come on, ONE SHOT '80! I hope you're joking, that's the worst that was out there. Besides, the British new wave seems to have already ended, and the Italian new wave isn't that great. The '80s were a fantastic decade, but not for the things you mention, iside.

Incredible, so it's a crazy coincidence! In my first comment, I was actually referring to you. (By the way, when can we expect your review? The entire debaserian community is eagerly waiting.)

I couldn’t care less about the vote; the fact is that many beautiful pages get unnecessarily stained with useless comments. Wading through all this chaos to find the intelligent comments is a bit of a hassle.

No no, I don't mean that. I'm talking about the people who write just to insult (and there are plenty of them on this page). Anyway, I agree with everything Saputello said.
