Anyway, I like Led Zeppelin too, just to be clear. If you want a list of bands, click on my name; in my profile under "altro" there's a list of bands I enjoy. A good number of those are better than Zeppelin. But of course, it all comes down to personal taste, right?

Ah, you hit the nail on the head! Yes, you can live off music. But it's hard to do that when you say new and unusual things. There are plenty of bands out there (especially lately because recording has become cheaper) that don’t even manage to sell 500 copies but do it anyway out of passion, perhaps even at a financial loss. And there are plenty of bands artistically greater than Led Zeppelin.

led&zep, what's with this stilted response of yours? Feeling bad? Relax. Yes, in my opinion, Led Zep can't be considered among the greatest artists. And anyway, I said "the majority of great artists," it's clear that there can be exceptions.
