<<<"the usual indie-rock">>> Yes, why not Festwca? In the end, I bought this one and not the BtS album. Great record.

Thank you, I try to keep it updated to my tastes as much as possible. It's not exhibitionism; the point is: Festwca wrote this comment/review, let's see what their tastes are to frame their judgment. I think every DeB user should have a favorites page for artists, so that there is a better understanding when talking to each other. I have put it in a format that is as accessible as possible (colorful).

Thank you for your kind words :) I have original copies of Lullaby Land, Clockseed, and Gravity's Rim, and I have a copy of Premonition, so I believe I know them pretty well too. While I really like the first three (with a preference for Lullaby and Clockseed), I admit that I’ve never managed to listen to the last one from start to finish; it gave me a sense of fatigue, a lack of ideas, a sterility. I think I will follow your advice and listen to it carefully again. What do you think of War Music and the Ether Bunny?

Well, it's vulgar and exaggerated, and deliberately "macho," often for self-deprecating purposes; maybe that was her intention.

Anyway, lately some incredible stuff is being reprinted: just this month, Nail and Hole by Foetus and, listen up, Irrlicht by Schulze! (I take the opportunity to raise the rating: five, no doubts about it). "What an annoying and stupid voice": that's exactly the point, it seems to me.

October 23, 2006: after a long period during which it was practically impossible to find, it has finally been reissued by Some Bizarre Records: digipak edition, remastered with all the original artwork (and the same for Hole). It was about time!
Vampire Rodents Lullaby Land

Lullaby Land is from 1993 or 1994. The subsequent Clockseed is beautiful as well, although it's much more "normal." The latest "Gravity's Rim," on the other hand, is a half-baked piece of junk....
