Yes, probably the most accessible, it's almost dance music. Villus, I listened again diligently to Gravity's Rim, also reading the lyrics. Nothing, I don't like it. It's flat, too monotonously sung (and too often by Vahnke with that solemn tone that becomes boring over time), it's not as sparkling and brilliant as the previous ones. The background of overlapping samples is incredible but the tracks are all too similar and in the same tone. Will it grow on me over time?

Wait: "hardcore and similar trash"?!!! In my opinion, you're speaking without knowing...

More: Nevermind brought the American independent rock scene to light and beyond. I have to thank them for being able to listen to Husker Du, Minutemen, Pixies, Butthole Surfers, Meat Puppets, etc., etc.... But these are things that have already been said and over-said. You, thetooper, in this review are completely off the mark, I'm sorry.

Nice debut, oceansize, but there are still quite a few great albums from the 90s to review, huh. Regarding Steve Albini, I want to clarify that he is indifferent to whether the band is good or not; he doesn't want his musical ideas to influence the musicians he produces (actually, it’s more accurate to say "he records").

Finally, someone who knows the album; I was afraid I’d be alone. The VR are one of those bands that make you wonder how they can’t be considered immense by the whole world; and, despite their avant-garde attitude, they are also quite accessible. @chaz: damn, I managed to make it into the top 10-15 most liked reviews, and you made me disappear! (just joking, I don’t care about the rating, you just took a bit of visibility away from the VR on DeB). @Villus: I was waiting for you, I'm glad you liked the review. I enjoyed yours on rateyourmusic. @kosmo: look, I checked, you didn’t put it among the recommended ones, did you? ;)

Really beautiful, Bartle. And the Coroner, I must meet them. I'm going with Mental Vortex.

Anyway, whether or not to make poetry in music does not depend on the expressiveness of the instrument, in my opinion.

I agree with you, antoniodeste, an acoustic instrument has a "color" and a depth that electronics cannot achieve. I just found it excessive when you referred to -l"arte" del futuro- in a derogatory manner. Regards.
