But am I wrong or has it never been released on CD? Amazing album, for which I had planned the review. You stole it from me, but you did a good job.

Once again, you make a generalization that makes no sense. There are valid groups and invalid groups. You say that since the advent of punk, music has started to lose its value? I say the opposite; punk brought an essential breath of fresh air and sparked a desire to play and create one's own music that wasn't there before. If you're talking about the masses, about what the radio and TV are feeding us, then I agree, more or less since the late '70s there has been an undeniable decline. But music shouldn't be sought there, that’s obvious.

I take this opportunity to give a double piece of advice. 1984, in my opinion, was the peak of the wave of renewal that started with punk (which later transformed into hardcore in the USA, and then into something else indefinable). It was the year when two of the most incredible, creative, idea-rich, influential, and groundbreaking records in the history of rock were released, by the Minutemen and Husker Du. Dedicated to those who think that punk is just Sex Pistols and someone else, or that it's raw and easy music.

Understandable to everyone? Not true, there are those (DaveJonGilmour?) who still don't get it. And there are punk bands that make difficult music. Representative of the anger of the lower class? Again, it depends.

Ok, we agree, it seemed to me that you wanted to say that prog was a "superior" genre. Not true, genres don't exist, they are just a limitation.
