Tragic Mulatto Locos Por El Sexo

Eeeh, look at those coincidences. Anyway, to be precise: on soulseek you can find Locos por el sexo at 128Kbit which sounds awful. Order: 1) Freddy 2) untitled 3) Underwear Maintenance 4) Sexy Money 5) Monkey Boy 6) Potato Wine 7) Swineherd in the Tenderloin 8) Twerpenstein. Then, still on soulseek you can find "Italians Fall Down and Look Up Your Dress", this time in high quality ripped from a CD. Order: 1-10) Hot Man Pussy 11) Freddy 12) Safeway (which was untitled in Locos) 13) Potato Wine 14) Sexy Money 15) Monkey Boy 16) Twerpenstein. In conclusion, by mixing the two, you can create a Locos Por el Sexo in excellent quality, except for 2 tracks ("Underwear Maintenance" and "Swineherd in the Tenderloin").

Kosmo is still around, not doing reviews but leaving various comments here and there. You can also see them in chat sometimes. And odradek?

I only have the original album by Dadamah and Harmony of the Spheres. But I think I'll gradually buy the entire discography. And what about the Pin Group?

Who gives a damn about the lyrics? The music is pretty honest rock, nothing transcendent, sure, but it's easy to listen to. And then, three-chords-three played half-heartedly? That's exactly what makes it great.

Returning to the album in question, it’s incredible. It’s a crazy crossover between Flipper, Butthole Surfers, and Dead Kennedys, with an amazing singer (in my opinion one of the best rock female voices ever). It's also heavily influenced by jazz. At SST, the Saccharine Trust had tried to do something similar by mixing hardcore and jazz, but the result was frankly unbearable. Here, however, we are in more accessible territory, at times I would dare say melodic. Hardcore-jazz avant-garde, in the face of those who believe that rock died in '77 :)

What an amazing album!!! Damn, I was already making good progress on the review, at this point I’ll just trash it and move on; great job, philosopho. The album has never been released on CD (by the way, are you sure about the order of the tracks? I have them in a different order) and the vinyl is incredibly hard to find. On Soulseek, there’s a copy at 128K ripped from vinyl with nauseating audio quality. The only way to listen to it decently is to get "Italians Fall Down and Look Up Your Dress" (also incredibly hard to find, but it’s available on Soulseek at 320K), which collects 6 out of 8 tracks from Locos and the album Hot Man Pussy.

Does anyone know a way to get this record? But was it ever pressed on CD? You can't find it anywhere, damn it, I want the original!!!!
Green Day American Idiot

Yes, they may have made a leap forward (I don't doubt it, I haven't listened to the album) but Green Day were quite predictable even back in the Dookie days... And then, with so many steaks around, why settle for a little meatball?
Don Caballero American Don
Voto:
Trell, but now the Don Caballero lineup is almost completely changed, they're practically a different band... I've heard the latest album is mediocre, but very, very mediocre. I haven't listened to American Don.
