Butthole Surfers Butthole Surfers Ep + Live PCPPEp
Voto:
The Cows play hardcore; and it's some serious hardcore, to boot. They are a fucking brutal machine, with insane musicians and one of the most aggressive and personal singers in rock history. Among the straightforward and loud bands of the '90s, there's no competition, the Cows clean up. And who gives a shit.

@Airone: Hoenig's album is available in eBay stores; right now the CD version is held by two sellers (the vinyl is easier to find), one in the USA for $9.68 and one in the UK for £7.86. You can also find Malesch (as I look, there are two auctions under ten euros). @DaveJonGilmour: yes, the collaboration with Dalek, there's a review of it here on DeB.

Breaking news. The disc is not a CDR, but a completely normal CD... Misinformation, apologies.

As a fan of the Pixies, I got their first album, Pod. Listening to it didn't drive me to get this Last Splash as well; maybe I'll get around to it. Regarding the Frank vs Kim debate, I undoubtedly choose Joey Santiago. He was the noise soul of the group, the one who made chaos with the guitar, the 2/3 of noise that made up the sound of the Pixies. Frank Black the spastic songwriter, Kim Deal the melodic soul.

No false modesty, those reviews are terrible and they'll remain terrible. I admit I've improved over time :)

I pass the ball to the pretazzo, prophet of 80s hardcore, if he happens to be around. I've already said my piece on the Huskers with two horrendous reviews that I will rewrite sooner or later (I was new and inexperienced :) )...

Negligible compared to what they did afterwards, the subsequent Metal Circus is already a remarkable leap forward. By the way, the review is still missing...
