Hawkwind In Search Of Space

Hey, I missed this about the priest. The album is too good, and I quote Bjork: check out ASH RA TEMPEL, they were ten times more out there than Hawkwind. I'm directing you to a page on Julian Cope's site that describes them (excerpted from the famous krautrocksampler): Julian Cope presents Head Heritage | Unsung | Ash Ra Tempel Otherwise, there’s my beautiful review ;)
Bob Dylan Time Out Of Mind

I'm coming back here after seeing Dylan in concert (so boring) and re-listening to Time Out Of Mind. And I'm voting again. And even though I haven't listened to all his albums, I can't help but echo Elvis Costello: this is the best Dylan ever. His album bluuuueeeees, one of the darkest. Despite its monotony, it's musically and deeply rich in sounds like Bob has rarely been. For those who love the sound of a record more than the lyrics.

And you’re right about the Stooges, I think. My Cold Dimension is pure Detroit rock.

Oh, yeah, sure. It's just that this album makes me think more of the long "calm" and bluesy pieces rather than the outbursts of Blue Cheer. And Blue Cheer makes me think more of their saturated and dirty sound (absolutely not present in White Heaven) than of their songs. Thanks for the tip on Marble Sheep, I'll look into it.

I agree with you. Nice record, but absolutely not in the top ten. And it seems obvious to me, aside from any Scaruffian references. The production is very poor and can be annoying; it's part of the "exotic" trap you describe. I don't really hear Blue Cheer and Stooges in it at all. I know almost nothing about Japanese music, except for Boredoms (which I can't listen to), Ghost (through which I got to these, but they bore me to death), Boris (which I sometimes really enjoy), and maybe something else that I can't think of.

The 60s garage isn't my thing. Yesterday's Children are a real blast (but they have nothing to do with it).
Blue Öyster Cult Secret Treaties

Of the first three, this is the one I like the least (but it's still a great album, make no mistake). “cattiveria, mista a crudeltà e spietatezza, sia nelle lyrics che nei ritmi delle canzoni” is a bit exaggerated, but I admire them because even though they play classic hard rock, there was a certain something off-kilter about them.

Nice album, although not on the level of 4 or Different Section Wires. The voice is kind of getting on my nerves a bit.
