Tortoise A Lazarus Taxon [3CD+DVD]

Joking aside, I would like to hear DaveJonGilmour's reasons. His "eh eh..after all..well.." I didn't really understand what it means. Don't you like them? Don't you agree with my analysis? Do you agree?

Stoopid, 2 to the review because: I write on DeB (like all of us, I think) to share a passion, music; this page looks like a damn snippet from Blow-Up. I’m not getting paid to do this. "Perfect," says pretazzo: exactly!

I Can were certainly mannerists, especially from Future Days onward. Rock professor types playing with white velvet gloves, looking down on the audience. High school mannerism, obviously. Like that of the Tortoise.

Double CD at a special price. It includes the two discs Jug Fulla Sun and Elusive Truth, plus three unreleased tracks, along with some others that came out on 7-inch vinyl. If you want to give it a try, download Jug Fulla Sun and listen to it. It's one of the most beautiful doom-rock albums ever. On par with the Sabs.

A review that is somewhat of a shopping list... Then "it narrates the chronology" is incorrect: aside from "Rhythms, Resolutions & Clusters", the rest is all mixed up. A (triple) album quite long-lasting, filled with nuggets and small hidden gems, in addition to other well-known treasures (like Gamera, from which I extracted the sample) but so far unavailable, except on the Japanese copies of Millions. It can also be found for 15 euros; I would say that for three CDs plus one DVD, it’s quite a remarkable price. Inside, the liner notes are a bit of a drag; often when discussing this group, people get carried away in stylish talks (like with old jazz records), forgetting that music is primarily meant to be listened to.

OK, Goatsnake booked by DottorGonzo, everything else by Bartleboom. El Chupacabra it's time for him to get to work too :)

Now that I think about it, in the doom-rock scene we’re still missing Goatsnake (pre-SunnO))), not exactly that extreme). I kindly request a review from those present.

Minkia Bartleboom, you’re turning into a stoner rocker! Jug Fulla Sun is one of the most beautiful heavy-rock albums EVER, no joke. A double review fits perfectly. Besides, mine is mostly a silly ramble of 15 lines, and you’re really generous :) So many great things, and we still need the review of the first Sir Lord Baltimore.

@floyd: the whole innovation thing is a bit of a joke. It goes without saying that this is one of the least innovative albums of the last 20 years :)

Send it all out, Bartle! And also on Lunar Womb by the Obsessed. And the first one from Seint Vaitus. And the latest from Hidden Hand, which is beautiful.
