Yes, but I would remove "revisited" :)

De-review (serious) extremely intricate even for the standard-wreckers. I wouldn't associate the album with either A Frames (who have a melodic pop vein completely absent here) or Mudhoney (who seem to have nothing to do with this).

The Ponzi Scheme, from what I've heard, is the one to have. The debut (reviewed on DeB) is still immature and lacks that catchy and sticky vibe, while the subsequent Psychopharmacology is too easily mainstream.

I really think so. They are a supergroup (the vocals are from Cop Shoot Cop, the guitar from Jesus Lizard, plus others I can't remember) that makes music halfway between Nick Cave, Foetus, and Tom Waits, with influences from the original country, the circus (motherhead bug), and other stuff I can't quite pin down. The result, contrary to what the premises might suggest, is a rather melodic and immediate rock/pop, almost radio-friendly. Close to the Pearl Jam of Lost Dogs (you know what I mean?) but with much more class. Beautiful. And I might just write a review...

I used to listen to this a lot back in the day. Now it’s been years since it’s gone into the stereo, maybe...

After listening to the EP diligently for weeks (along with The Ponzi Scheme by Firewater, it has been the most played album in the car going to/from work), I ordered the special edition with two CDs a few days ago. I'm waiting hopefully.
