This year also sees the release of the new album from the other two former Sleep members, OM. They've switched to Southern Lord, the album is titled Pilgrimage, it's produced by Steve Albini, it's coming out on October 2nd, and it looks promising.

Beautiful that page Donj. But I completely disagree on one thing: for me, there’s really no comparison between Doolittle and the earlier ones. That record isn’t worth a tenth of Surfer Rosa or Come On Pilgrim. Too easy. The fertile punk oddity of the early days has almost vanished, along with the eccentric and twisted melodic vein. It’s all a matter of taste, of course.
