But have you seen the unplugged? I'm not saying heard, but actually seen. Come on, Cobain is barely holding a guitar. I'm not saying he's not talented as a "loud" guitarist, but technique is something else. Just wait a few minutes and watch the entrance of the Meat Puppets brothers: Curt Kirkwood gives him quite a beating both as a guitarist and a songwriter (let’s not talk about the voice…).

Cobain stinks! :)

Well, maybe; in fact I said 'a pinch'. In Do Dallas I definitely hear a lot of the first EP (A Brown Reason To Live), plus obviously the Jesus Lizard, the Pixies, and the rest of the whole shebang.

Hey, I had listened to the Eels but I didn't like them at all. Maybe I'll give them another try, thx.

J Mascis gets on my nerves because he's super spaced out, and as a guitarist he’s great but boring and always the same. As for songwriting, I wouldn't know what to say: do you know a certain Neil Young? // Sage ahead of his time, precursor, whatever you want; that doesn’t change the fact that he puts me to sleep. Damn, even the Red Krayola were precursors (I think) but I wouldn’t put them on even under threat of armed force // Now I’m going to eat, then I’ll be back. And I won’t make any concessions :)

I've been listening to Nirvana since I was a little kid and I've always liked them. I've never been overly excited, though, except for a few tracks here and there (like I remember the live version of Drain You).
