I don't want to repeat myself, but in my opinion, Australian rock from 76-89 is absolutely awesome, nothing compared to grunge :)

They were teasing ajeje, it's obvious that these groups are part of the background of the Seattle sound of the late 80s.

Well, for the Feedtime the adjective "nice" doesn't quite fit, though. And the Saints?

Right, the success of Nirvana is largely due to the "softened" production of Nevermind, which Kurt seemed to be against. So the credit for bringing the underground to the masses is not his, but rather, paradoxically, that of Geffen.

I would say Kyuss and Sleep to start with. But if you're interested, take a look at the reviews of: Antmo, Caz, moonchild, birobiro. It's metal for non-metalheads.

Everything is good and right. Essentially, it bothers me that when Nirvana is mentioned, there is always someone (in this case ashanti) who says: it's not up for discussion.

No, seriously: for example, the so-called stoner rock and all its subgenres. It takes inspiration from Black Sabbath in a more psychedelic (drugged) way, staying connected to Jimi Hendrix. That's why if I listen to metal, I primarily listen to stoner. Because it's a genre that, in most cases, doesn't care about technique and showmanship, and keeps the right blues feeling.
