The white bubbles are on the right (the booklet folds that way). The group logo is on the so-called "obi" (which psycho will know what it means), that is, a folded cardboard placed on one side of the case.

Flood I: a "clean" guitar arpeggio, bouncing, reverberated, layered and repeated, subtly varied like the waves on the shore. // Flood II: a vaguely Hendrixian/funkadelic guitar lazily roams, sketching images and occasionally hinting at improvisation (personally: pretty awesome) // Flood III: here comes the doom we all know (Lysol, Earth 2, you know that stuff) but seen from a distance. A distant threat // Flood IV: everything slowly fades away, swept by gusts of wind that leave the landscape completely EMPTY.

josi, honestly I have no idea :) Of course, Flood doesn't have much of that stinky doom (except for the third movement, as ramona pointed out). Avangarde could definitely work, yesyes.

Well, pretazzo, they don't seem too bad to me, but after all, they are just another pop group, aren't they? A re-listen is definitely needed, that's for sure. Super nerdy review ;)

@therealramona - for the cover: I have the original imported from Japan, mine is like this but maybe there are other prints. Unfortunately, it was never brought to the West despite being a great record. Should we ask Southern Lord for a reissue?

Hi Flinstone, I’m happy to explain better (the review was meant to be kind of a flyer, and I think that those who are a bit into this kind of music got something out of it). The Boris can be placed in the genre of Earth/SunnO))), that is drone-doom. Now, for the description of what drone of this kind is, I refer you here: Earth 2: Special Low Frequency Version - Earth - Recensione di puntiniCAZpuntini - Basically, FLOOD is drone (that is atmospheric music based on the stasis of musical microcells - a riff, an arpeggio - suspended in air, elongated, deprived of a precise temporal succession), but not based on the devastating sound of the amplifier. It’s fluid, minimalist, for the first half hour even relaxed and without the unsettling tones of Sabbathian derivation. In the genre, in my opinion, it’s one of the absolute peaks; I’m saying this ahead of White2 for the ambient drifts, ahead of HEX for the use (in the first quarter) of a crystalline guitar (telecaster?) to achieve similar effects.
Lost Sounds Future Touch

Ah, I listened to them and they're not bad at all. But where did you find them? They are completely outside all the coordinates I know. A futuristic (electronic?) garage smeared with tar, I had truly never heard of that. Curious. What other bands would you recommend/associate with Lost Sounds? I miss some terms from the review, but it’s effective and concise as usual. Nice one.

I like it. And the 25 minutes of malevolent stillness aren't boring, on the contrary. But was there really a need for another duplicate?
Beasts of Bourbon The Axeman's Jazz

Supersoul, I completely agree with you. The Australians had something special and were not just simple epigones of US rock. A combination of blues, alcohol, sand, and garage music made with true heart. I think I'll listen to the latest CD by the Beasts of Bourbon then. But where can I find the old ones??
