The videos I've seen are always very original, never predictable (one in particular: "imitation of life"). I also find it a bit hard to digest Stipe's voice, but their best of 2003, I listen to it from time to time, and it's not bad at all!

Gallinaccio?! Of course, poor thing, to sing the songs of RATM you have to be twenty and angry; in my opinion, it's really more of an interpretation issue than a voice one! Anyway, this CD doesn't completely suck for the simple fact that I've used a "backward" strategy: I started with this one, which didn't seem bad to me, then I moved on to the previous one, which is definitely better, and finally the road split. On the RATM side, I hit a dead end: the first CD doesn’t appeal to me, it’s too shouty and angry for my taste. On the Soundgarden side, a highway opened up; I started with Superunknown, and now I’m also going to get Badmotorfinger. Then, since I heard them labeled as a Led Zeppelin group, the next step is to discover those two bands!!... and it all started from this album, incredible!! :-))

If what happened in Naples is true, then in a year or two this little place will close down!!... you can’t invite people like Sting and Skin and treat them like garbage! Here, I've heard good things about them, but I just can't seem to get into them! I judge based on the 2 or 3 singles I've heard, and it seems to me they have such a "dated" sound! The cover, then, really has a design reminiscent of an old Soviet poster (...but maybe that's intentional!).

I was eagerly waiting for your review, Kry!... but I was also expecting a higher rating. Seriously, is it that bad? Because in that case, it means I haven’t missed anything... and here I was feeling miserable for missing the chance to see Sting live!! In the end, I should have left early too due to the metro service ending! I managed to see the soundcheck of Mattafix on All Music and I couldn’t believe my eyes: Piazza Duomo practically deserted!?! Of course, when you say they sang at 7, it all makes sense!... I don’t know, I thought it was something managed wonderfully given all the publicity they do!!!... and I wonder how much they charge extra for ice creams to organize all this fuss!! :-))... please, someone review the one in Rome, I really want to see what Subsonica, Black Eyed Peas, and Fabri Fibra come up with... what a crazy combination!! How did they pull it off? Did they put names in a bag and draw them out like a lottery, dear heavens!!!
