But those who have an ear to understand have always known that this is a worthwhile album. As always, there are those who throw mud, perhaps after a quick and superficial listen, and there have been some in these comments too, people who gave a 2 to an album that doesn't deserve it at all. It's so vital that it's impossible to give it a 2. I actually prefer it to American Stars and Bars; the ones that deserve a 2 for me are the following ones. As Ziggy says, this is a rock and roll album, without many pretenses, but played with real passion. The Crazy Horse never lie.

great record, anyone who doesn’t understand it seems limited in their judgments, and it’s an excessive record, made to sound this way. Sampedro is clear in the interviews from that time, portraying a crazy furious Young, and that’s exactly what he wanted and what Young needed in 1981.

I too am a DJ who has never liked to sell out... where selling out means playing a genre of music that is imposed... playing only and exclusively what the market demands... without proposing anything new... In short, a lover of true house... but now... I have come to the sad realization that many things have changed... it is indeed a profession in decline... before being a DJ meant dedicating time and setting aside money... to buy vinyl that cost 12, 13, even 20 thousand lire each... practicing... hour after hour... to try to become someone... and manage to make a name for yourself... a scene where you could gain satisfaction and recover part of the investments made... How hard it was to get my first 1200s and build a musical library. Now it’s no longer like that; you become a "DJ" with 299 euros and an internet connection, download the hit of the moment, improvise with beat-matched samples in kamikaze transitions, and people are just fine with it... as long as they hear their favorite hit... and so on... The market asks for nothing else now... quality is placed on the back burner... with rare exceptions for some venues...

by Jarmusch with Waits and Benigni, check out Down by Law from 1986, forget that crap called Coffee, all of Jarmusch’s early work is worth watching.
