Niccolò Fabi Novo mesto
Voto:
I still haven't bought Novo Mesto, but I will as soon as possible because Nicco is the best. I say this because, in my opinion, he is a credible character. The problem with music today is precisely that of credibility, which many "artists" lack or no longer possess. I don’t agree with the debut album. "Capelli" or "Dica" were indeed fun and carefree tracks, but not at all trivial. The album "Il Giardiniere" was a bit immature, but there were excellent ideas. In short, you could see that the guy had talent. Hi!

I agree with Ars. I wasn't blown away by the first single either, but they are truly amazing live. They impressed me. They have a crazy groove and the rest of their repertoire is far from commercial. In fact, after the first listen, some songs might even seem difficult. He is a real stage animal, but be careful with comparisons. Everyone is unique in their own way. I'm sorry there's so much animosity towards them. In my opinion, if they can avoid becoming too commercial, they could become the best Italian band.

But... Music Farm is a reality show, but as I said, very different from Big Brother or The Farm. Here, there is real competition and everyone has to prove their worth. Baccini, whom I consider a very talented artist, embarrassed himself last year by chasing after that little slut Dolcenera. It was terrible! And he even swore live on air. I don't think Fortis can reach those levels.

No.. Even Baccini was quite a peculiar artist, and yet he had a lot of success.

Well, yes... It's just that every week they have to prepare pieces and perform them live. In fact, the most interesting thing (maybe the only interesting thing) is the episode on TV where they perform.

However, at the farm and on Big Brother, there are no artists. Only small-time actors or little whores. In Music Farm, the game gets more interesting.

Well said, Strangler.

Max Gazzè, even if he doesn't drive me crazy, I think he's really talented. There's always been this dualism (even though they are good friends) between Fabi and Gazzè. However, I believe there are many differences: from a musical standpoint, Gazzè puts a lot of emphasis on the rhythm section and uses a lot of electronics, while Fabi prefers acoustic guitars, saxophones, and more complex arrangements. The lyrics are also much more ironic and carefree in Gazzè's work, while Fabi's are more intimate and introspective. Of course, this also affects their interpretations. Anyway, both are amazing, but Fabi is my favorite singer-songwriter.

Absolutely agree! He is among the giants of our music; there are no more refined songwriters like him. Only Niccolò Fabi tries to refresh the singer-songwriter tradition that was Roman, Genoese, and Milanese.

Fortis may have been gone for years, but we all know the reason. Unlike people like De Gregori and Guccini, he was censored and kicked to the curb. In the '90s, he produced works in America with prominent musicians (like Vinnie Colaiuta and Alex Acuna) that were highly praised by critics. His lack of success with the public is certainly not due to the quality of his records. Bye.
