I mentioned the nickname because you can't criticize U2 for "The Joshua Tree" and then celebrate an overrated band that relied on Jim's charisma and the skill of the hamond player.

Chupa Chups, you’re in bad shape. Give up on your music tastes. I can’t stand Nirvana on the surface, but if I had to listen to an album that deserves it, I wouldn’t hesitate to praise it.

I got the point: it all comes from the mocking of Poletti (the dark, etc.) but you're overdoing it anyway.

Feel "Where the streets have no name." You, Saputello, would be able to come up with that riff, or just recreate it with the guitar. I await your responses.

I've already written it. Read! And then you sign as Jim Morrison, who, for heaven's sake, was a great frontman, one of the most charismatic figures in rock. But he was part of one of the most overrated bands in the history of music.

It's bigger than yours, trust me. Do you really think your opinion is more objective, comprehensive, and authoritative than those of BB King, Gavin Friday, or Brian Eno? The Edge is not open for discussion.

The answer is: sure. And I'm not saying this just because I love U2 (after all, if I love them, there must be a reason), but because I really listen to a lot of music of all kinds, without prejudices, and because I study it. So I know what I'm talking about; I'm not just a simple "fan." It's like when someone comes along and says, "Pop art sucks"... Well, why? Just because it seems trivial to you? Go study it then, instead of whining.

I listen to the records. Period.

sorry for you, but I'm neck deep in music and I know what I'm talking about. From a lyrical standpoint, this is an immense album. Bono & Co. manage to find an exceptional music-lyric connection. The rest is just meaningless chatter. XJim: you criticized Poletti without even giving a rating to the album. Have you listened to it?
