U2 Live Aid 1985 Wembley Londra

I'm sorry, but I don't fully agree with the "picture" of the U2 as unfortunate, still niche, etc. After their first album "Boy," the U2 have always topped the U.K. charts and soon after the American ones as well. Come on, you exaggerated a bit there, huh? And after the Zoo TV tour, U2, besides being the biggest band in the world, also became the best. Bye.

Aside from the fact that "Thriller" and "Bad" are not just pure marketing, but great albums ("Beat it," "Billie Jean," "Dirty Diana," "Liberian Girl" among others), that doesn’t change the fact that to comment on an artist's album (provided you've actually listened to "Bad"), there's no need to bring up their "illnesses" or private life. Otherwise, I would have to go and comment on The Doors' albums and say that Morrison was a junkie, or go to "Appetite for Destruction" and say that Axl Rose is a drunk. Do you understand the concept?

Dear Bjork, if you're really from '68, things are getting worrying. You only leave childish comments, damn, someone talks about "Bad" and you say "fucking pedophile"?! So much for common sense.

Rece paracula, the collection is enjoyable especially at the beginning. Then boredom takes over. "Dancing Queen" and "Sos" are, in my opinion, true pop gems, but the Abba, in my view, haven't managed to produce singles of the same level. Some good songs, a couple of great tracks. Nothing more.

"Now I'm Here," "I'm in love with my car," "Innuendo," etc. Besides being a technically good guitarist, Taylor is one of those musicians you recognize at the very first beat. He has an unmistakable sound and the characteristic of almost always playing the hi-hat in an open offbeat. He has style, you know? Great drummers can be recognized by this as well. But it's the same for all instruments: Frusciante and The Edge (not to mention others) don’t technically measure up to Jeff Beck or Jimi Hendrix. Yet they are great guitarists for having invented a sound, a style. Get it??

Ah, did you know that Taylor was a no-good player? Don’t put him on the same level as Poletti, please. Taylor is considered a great drummer even by his peers for a number of reasons. When playing with Queen, there was no need to be like Jeff Porcaro. Moreover, he has a wonderful voice and a great musical mind.

Come on Fidia, you have to admit that a "I don't like them" is much more honest than a "they're crap." Just because a band or a songwriter made music history doesn't mean they have to be liked. I believe Poletti must have listened to something by the Sabbath to say he doesn't like them. In any case, I know fools who just say the Beatles were four fags and that they aren't the greatest band ever. I won't comment on the rest.

Punisher and Masahiro, you’re almost like my idols. I totally agree with you. I’m the first to say that the '80s Queen are too cheesy, but in this album (which I haven’t listened to completely), there are great tracks that suffer from outdated sounds. Go watch the live show at Wembley and tell me if "Is this the world we created" is that terrible. Or "tear it up," which I can assure you (I perform it live with my band) is a really tough track. Not to mention "I want to break free" (the video doesn’t make me feel nauseous, in fact it lifts my spirits) and "Radio ga ga" (you know the aerial shot??). Cheers.

However, 10,000 copies back then (like now) weren’t many for a record, you know...
