Franco Battiato Fetus
Voto:
A "breakthrough" album right from the cover (I believe it faced censorship issues), with very original lyrics and themes never tackled before (not just for the recitation of the DNA formula in "Fenomenologia"; take tracks like "Energia" or "Meccanica"). Innovative also in terms of sound: "Fetus" was perhaps the first album to feature the new sounds produced by synthesizers (which would become a trend in 1972). An avant-garde album, but far from being "penitential" (Battiato seems not to have entirely forgotten his "apprenticeship" as a melodic songwriter), which, 40 years later, might seem somewhat dated at times (it doesn’t seem to have aged as well as "Pollution" and "Sulle corde di Aries"), but that doesn't diminish its depth, in my opinion.

With all the respect I have for Taylor (who, by the way, plays on Sticky Fingers, my favorite Stones album), it seems like a job that is fundamentally routine.
Scissor Sisters Magic Hour

Good review. As for the album, it seems good for a casual listen (which is not necessarily a flaw).
Santana Guitar Heaven: The Greatest Guitar Classics of All Time
Voto:
Usual Santana album, stuffed with guests, devoid of soul.

Perhaps something more could have been said, sumptuous record.

I join Danny the Kid.
Baustelle Sussidiario illustrato della giovinezza

I find them quite interesting, even if to be taken in small doses. I also prefer cultured quotes to nothingness.

Better the Ricola.
Robbie Williams Live at Knebworth

Nice review, with some interesting reflections on the implications of being a pop star. I don’t mind him; he has made several enjoyable songs.
Luis Bunuel Un Chien Andalou
Voto:
Maybe it’s quicker for me to watch the movie. With all due respect, I’ve never interrupted reading a review before. In my opinion, with a few more paragraphs and fewer words, it would have been more enjoyable.
