Olivia Newton-John Totally Hot
Voto:
Wow... I underestimated the lovely Olivia. I'm glad to know she's alive and doing well.

Beautiful review, also for the quotes from Battiato placed just right. Unfortunately, it doesn't entice me to see it; 2 hours and 40 for a "story" like that seems excessive, and everything feels well-known to me; if we really had to send someone to the Oscars, I would have sent Bellocchio. As for Bellucci, whenever she acts, it reminds me of "i bisogni dei carritteri", with the difference that at least the latter remain silent and well-behaved.
Wanna Marchi & The Pommodores D'Accordo?!

Consciously crazy review (even though Vikk on orrorea33giri.com is unbeatable), a "song" that reflects the character, who, after everything he has done, I haven't found amusing in a long time. Anyway, I believe that a good part of what you hear today is muuuuuch more trashy than this little disc.
Steven Spielberg Schindler's List
Voto:
Beyond the inevitable rhetoric, a masterpiece, both from a technical point of view (I greatly appreciate the black and white reminiscent of classic films and the idea of the girl in the red coat) and from a narrative perspective (Spielberg never forgets that Schindler was driven by entrepreneurial pragmatism), further supported by Neeson's masterful performance. Very moving without being overly sentimental.
Walter M. Germain Il Magico Potere della Vostra Mente

@ Punisher: in those years (late '70s-early '80s), the "Varia" series by Euroclub included several gems of the genre, such as: "The Conquest of Death," which claimed that scientific and medical progress would ensure human immortality by 1999 (!); "1999 Year of the Apocalypse," "Guide to Spiritualism," "Practical Magic," "Reincarnation: 20 Cases in Support."
Sándor Márai Le Braci

A captivating review that explains everything with images. A book I have wanted to read for years.
J-Ax Rap N' Roll

A nice pair of AX: a deserved review for a piece of crap album! "Whoever raps also damages you, tell him to stop!"
Walter M. Germain Il Magico Potere della Vostra Mente

Well... I remember it on my father's shelf, in Euroclub edition. As a pre-teen, it would have piqued my curiosity quite a bit; today, perhaps, as a humorous book.
The Doors Strange Days
Voto:
It doesn't have "The End," but it's more mature and bolder than the first (see "Horse Latitudes," "When The Music's Over," and "Strange Days," with its pre-electronic vocal effects, which I believe left more than a few people speechless in '67), and it wraps up an unforgettable year for the Doors and for music.
Phyllida Lloyd Mamma Mia! The Movie

Nice review; now I know what I might be facing: long live ABBA (of which I only need the records), down with Pierce Brosnan!
