Interesting report... of course, it takes quite a bit of patience to find something interesting.

"I have seen things you humans wouldn't believe." I have the three versions as well, and I love them all. The soundtracks by Vangelis from the early '80s remain unmatched for me.

Thank you for the notification, which I read with pleasure for the enthusiasm and expertise you put into it.

Great job as always, Giovanni.

Author who has also done interesting works (Milano and Vincenzo and Settembre), but overall dispensable. This album looks like a piece of junk to me just from the cover.

I think, for example, of those I’ve been fortunate enough to listen to, like Mimmo Cavallo, Mauro Pelosi (of whom I hope to write a review soon), Renzo Zenobi, and Edoardo De Angelis (all of these, except Mimmo Cavallo, are somehow connected to the Roman school).

Interesting mention of an atypical author of whom I was unaware. There’s a whole undergrowth of singer-songwriters who, for one reason or another, have remained almost unknown but have produced works that are sometimes more interesting than those of more celebrated artists.
Alfio Bardolla I Soldi Fanno La Felicità

Subtitle: "One in a thousand makes it." Overall, this Bardolla seems like a pathetic person to me (it almost sounds like he is saying that if someone is poor, it's their fault), and sometimes I think that the lives of those who have a mountain of money and maybe flaunt their status are insipid.

Well, it may be, but I don’t see this populism in the purple people... it seems to me that in addition to opposing a certain way of doing politics, there is also a proactive moment concerning civil rights, justice, the environment, and work; an attempt to move away from a method characterized by exaggerated personalization and inversion of the ends-means relationship (that is, the program as a means to govern, and not governing to implement a program) that defines today’s politics, based on two main contenders, largely interchangeable (even if one of them is definitely more foul-smelling than the other). Speaking of bad odors, I was nauseated by the show in Piazza San Giovanni with the claque recruited by the head of the Brown People (apparently for €100) to mock those who sacrificed their lives for justice and legality.

An interesting and bold proposal. I have always heard this group referred to as one of the best and most vibrant Italian bands of the late '70s. I am also quite surprised by the presence of Ludovico Einaudi, whose solo works I am not particularly fond of.
