The Stooges My Girl Hates My Heroin
Voto:
They rock! Reading your review really makes you feel like you can see/hear them play.

Take care of yourself, Fosca! I also think "Chelsea Girl" is a great travel companion, especially in the dim light of 5 in the morning :-)

Update on comment no. 24: in the new edition of "24,000 records," there is finally a short review of "Chelsea Girl": 4 stars out of 5!

The most disturbing thing is that these assholes will take copyright without having done anything. Still better than a Moccia book… at least you can be sure there’s no bullshit written in it.
John Lee Hooker I Feel Good
Voto:
A somewhat hasty review, it deserved more attention.
Funkadelic Standing On the Verge of Getting It On
Voto:
Very interesting; for the moment, my vast music collection is very white.
Irene Grandi Alle Porte del Sogno

One of those singers I've only heard in the supermarket. She seemed destined for great things, but she remains a nice girl and a bit trashy who almost always sings songs of modest weight. Then again, if Curreri writes the songs for you, you can't expect much.
Taj Mahal Taj Mahal
Voto:
A grand debut for a great artist. Not to nitpick, but Taj Mahal is more of a pseudonym. An acronym is, to give a musical example, E.L.O. (Electric Light Orchestra). For the rest, an essential, evocative, and rigorous review :-)
Kenny Burrell & John Coltrane Kenny Burrell & John Coltrane
Voto:
Certainly a happy encounter.
Leonard Cohen Death Of A Ladies' Man
Voto:
A strict review. For me, Cohen is above all voice, poetry, and guitar; but, as someone once said, if only we had more "black sheep" like that.
