As I mentioned elsewhere, I heard some tracks from this album on Fazio's show. They seemed more than decent compared to the many ridiculous things done in the past. For now, it's too early to shout miracle, but I hope Adelmo keeps it up... After "Oro, incenso e birra," he has almost always disappointed me.

I don't give a grade to the "rece": it seems more like one of those definitions taken from "Nonciclopedia", which sometimes are funny, sometimes not. The album is one of the best works of the Fab Four.

The album struck me as a pointless celebration of someone who already had little to say back then. I had a friend duplicate it for me, who had to cut some brief instrumental parts (or some eeeeeeh) here and there to fit it onto a 90-minute tape. I think I only listened to it once, with considerable discomfort: I never asked my friend to record it for me again on a 100-minute tape (who knows if the little brats of today know that, before they came into the world, people recorded music on cassette tapes). Months later, a friend came to visit me, and I lent her the tape, as mutilated as it was. I never asked for it back.

As a layman, I found the review interesting and well written (however, it should be "scuote," not "squote"). It seems to me that the album is affected by the rift with John Lennon (the cover photo recalls an image of John with a pig).
