I was 7 years old and the national team's champions seemed like flawless and fearless heroes to me (I knew nothing about the fact that Paolo Rossi had been suspended for two years due to Totonero): perhaps because of my young age, the final at the Bernabeu was my greatest sports emotion. 24 years later, I didn’t feel the same sensations.

You perfectly captured the essence of the album, which deserved more refined and less monotonous arrangements. This is especially true for "Alessandro e il mare," "Milady," and "Gli anni," which I had the chance to hear live, played with a real band: with guitar and drums added to the keyboards, these songs reveal all their beauty, which I think is somewhat stifled in the studio version. But I also really appreciate "Polo Sud," and especially "Leonard Cohen," in my opinion the peak of the album. The only track that leaves me a bit perplexed is "Poesia scritta in un bar," which seems to me one of the many diversions of the singer-songwriter.

I'm curious... the opening must be truly hilarious, in its genius.

Very far ahead. I don't think I've ever seen anything so rotten.

I sent my partner into ecstasy with Nico and Neil Young, then I continued with Vangelis, Tori Amos, Elton John, Françoise Hardy. Her CDs of Vasco Rossi are covered in geological layers of dust and her collection of Jovanotti even ended up in the trash bin. I'm a lucky guy.
