Let's keep the average...

One of the most beautiful songs by the Beatles and definitely a masterpiece, in its simplicity. However, I prefer others by the Beatles. No one has mentioned poor George Harrison, who wrote gems like "Something" (also widely covered) and "While My Guitar Gently Weeps."

Imperfections aside, excellent analysis. "God Only Knows" is nothing short of one of the most beautiful songs of all time, and the B-side allows you to unwind after such beauty. But did you end up finding the album?
