Delirium L'era della menzogna
Voto:
Review read with pleasure. I only have the first album by Delirium, which I appreciated a lot for the blend of prog, jazz, and Latin sounds. Just enough to consider them among the most interesting bands of the time.
Spettri 2973 – MMCMLXXIII – La nemica dei ricordi
Voto:
I follow Italian prog a bit, but I’ve never heard of these guys. Commendable the idea of recording with the technology in use in ’73. I can’t evaluate the album because I haven’t listened to it, but it seems like an interesting proposal.
Françoise Hardy L'Amour Fou
Voto:
A singer I adore, in all the evolutions she has gone through in her long career, for the charm she exudes and the emotions she imparts with her songs. I know her albums up to 1975 quite well; regarding what she has done afterwards, the little I have heard gives me the impression of an artist who has gracefully resisted the wear of time and the temptation to crystallize in the glories of the past.
François Truffaut L'uomo che Amava le Donne
Voto:
Among Truffaut's best works, for sure. What stands out is Bertrand's unique conception of women, which sets him apart from the serial playboy.
Nomadi La settima onda
Voto:
Beautiful review. Of the Nomadi "post-Augusto," I only know the album "Quando ci sarai," an honest work, but not spectacular. I remain very attached to the "classic" Nomadi.
Tobe Hooper Poltergeist - Demoniache presenze
Voto:
Good review, which highlights how often characters, dialogues, and situations in horror are nonsensical and unintentionally comical. I watched the film in the early '90s with a girl I really liked at the time. It's needless to say that I hardly remember anything about the film.
Vincent van Gogh Meza Recchia
Voto:
Certain passages had me in stitches (especially this one: "one who is your age
books by Emìle Zola,
Shakespeare in the strings,
Dickens in the strings,
You, read DVD Recorder manuals.
Him, three hundred letters, fine literature
You, one hundred sixty characters, two emojis, the end") but I don't understand the point of this copy & paste. I agree that Debaser remains a site without censorship. However, it is also true that Debaser is a site for "reviews written by those who want." Reviews, indeed. The "5" is for the picture (not for Caparezza).
AA.VV. Il meglio - il peggio
Voto:
Well-written and interesting review (especially the trash episodes mentioned at the beginning). It made me want to watch "The Shawshank Redemption" and sparked a certain curiosity for Dario Argento's "operistic" excursions.
Enzo Jannacci Milano 3/6/2005 (M'han ciamaà)
Voto:
"I wanted to talk to you about m'han ciamaà. And do you think I didn't do it?" I believe it, absolutely.
Robert Wyatt Rock Bottom (Alifib)
Voto:
Stylistically, I didn't like this review very much, yet it struck me. The album "Rock Bottom" is, in my opinion, a masterpiece as well.
