On this you are right, but Wire – what a band they were! Their "Pink Flag" is practically a masterpiece that, in my opinion, many rock bands today draw from. It has influenced the stoner sound of Kyuss and the industrial of NIN. But the solos from that album – those are what still teach everyone today.
