The Clash, dear friend, not only made music history but were fucking geniuses because they were simply thirty years ahead of their time. With their music, they anticipated genres that wouldn’t start to spread until the 90s, like rap, funk, and dub. You’re an idiot if you think all music that came after Pink Floyd is crap, because it’s simply a generational shift that’s evolving the sounds and melodies of recent years. In conclusion, all music is boring or monotonous; rock will never die, it will never stop amazing us, it will evolve and remain eternal. Take Kurt, who would have thought he was followed by millions of people? Yet, no band like Nirvana has emerged since... so Pink Floyd, whether from the 60s, 70s, or 80s, are simply useless, monotonous, repetitive, and they make me quite sick. You don’t understand, but I love Oasis and despise Pink Floyd because I think when I listen to music, I don’t just feel it because they’re famous. Waters can throw himself down the toilet, and Gilmour can go strum in the streets like a gypsy; I am certainly better than them...

Luca, I wasn't joking at all. If punk wasn't meant to be born, then burn all the records you have because both the punk rockers and the Pink Floyd get wasted like hell, my friend...!!!

Please don't chase these false myths like Pink Floyd, because they were a monotonous band followed only by hippies who innovated very little in the music scene. The Talking Heads would never have made a commercial album like The Wall, and then there's Brian Eno, who is the king of ambient and electronic music. If you feel good about it, then you can stuff Pink Floyd in your pocket like I do; actually, I don’t do that because they have nothing to do with my musical culture. Please celebrate the true legends and not the false ones built on four chords, a splash here and there, a gong placed here and there, and four colored lights!! Long live the RAMONES!!! They started something so great that it will never cease to exist: the Punk soul. P.S. go to the homepage, there's a review of a certain LATERALUS by TOOL, which for those who appreciate Pink Floyd for their psychedelia can be an amazing album. It’s pointless for me to say it’s 10,000 times better than any Pink Floyd album!! Bye, sorry, but the rating is the result of a pretty complex reasoning.....

On this you are right, but Wire – what a band they were! Their "Pink Flag" is practically a masterpiece that, in my opinion, many rock bands today draw from. It has influenced the stoner sound of Kyuss and the industrial of NIN. But the solos from that album – those are what still teach everyone today.
