Industrial music is any type of music containing samples or sounds from synths that resemble, emulate, or imitate actual factory sounds like assembly line noises or metal-mechanical sounds. Fear Factory and industrial metal have grown up together. There are also other industrial groups like NIN and surely others I won't know, but FF are definitely in there.

I believe that’s a disservice to that band which in '85 had Dave Lombardo smashing the skins in a super-fast way, speed trash metal indeed...Master of Puppets had a catchier sound, but I don’t think Reign in Blood hasn’t gone down in history...or at least, it seems that it served a purpose!!!

They're not history if there are people who clearly play the instruments better than they do, see: Dimebag Darrell, Raymond Herrera, etc. If you got excited in Imola when you saw them, that's your taste. But if right now, like when they first came out, they've offered a sound that's outdated and very punky, it annoys me, and I even know they're fascists... I prefer Sepultura...
