Anyway, your vision is right... let's wait for it, let's feel it, and then we draw the conclusions. Visionary.

You're right, I just hope that a damn concert comes to Italy to make the joy of a sold-out show that blows minds in every possible genre... if he brings his colleagues along, even better. But given the direction he’s taken with the beats of the Perceptionists: classic old-school but at times he’s thrown in some "squeek," very acid, I think he wants to evolve into a muthafucka elektro, maybe even contradicting his most hardcore fans. Let’s remember that since he’s a great producer, he might prioritize the sound over the lyrics, which come naturally... anyway, a few days ago I mentioned that there's a track he did with Alec Empire called "Megaton B-Boy," so considering the taste of the product, I don’t think he’ll dive into the soul that oozes blackness from every pore; but into paranoid elektro post-punk b-boyng 2006.

Alright, I get it. I need to feel this limited edition before I can talk about it and say if I like it or not. However, according to El-P, "Oxycontin" from *Collecting the Kid* is the wildest thing he’s ever done, so maybe he’ll really like it. Anyway, I believe the second solo album will take a more electronic turn; I just hope it doesn’t fall into the commercial trap with those sick beats reminiscent of Warp, especially since the Anti-Pop did that before him. I’d like him to maintain the flow like when I first heard him in 2002, which introduced me to rap (the first rap artist I ever heard). In the meantime, will the novelties be in the finesse of the sound? What do you think?

Please no more reviews on this, I hope you won't make any more.... anyway, if he's underground....

"Collecting the Kid" is also an album of b-sides dug up and compiled from his various sessions, however, like this "High Water," it seems more like an album made of funadelic beats. Anyway, this one is almost all instrumental too; there's a song that just keeps repeating DEF JUX and that's it. But there are 2 or 3 sung tracks... are you getting confused?

Hey ...fuck...! I regret to inform you that I've done more research on this CD and, as I was right, there isn't a hint of a sung verse on it. This is a project that EL-P did with the Blu series continuum and it’s an instrumental fusion of jazz played and funkadelic electronic beats by EL-P. He dedicated this work to his father who introduced him to the world of music. So, you little fool, listen to the things before writing these completely personal reviews that don’t make any ...fuck... of what you should be feeling. The new El-P is coming out this year and it will be called "I Won't Sleep until You're Death"!!! Bye
