The technique that Radiohead brought to Kid A is also superb, but overall, what would you give Kid A? Just out of curiosity, because I compare them. As for Pink Floyd, I think you either love all of them or none... anyway, I take nothing away from Pink Floyd; on the contrary, they have always created music that is suited for future generations, too ahead of their time... (but also too behind for today... heheheh)

Well, the hyped or critically acclaimed bands are different: Pink, Radiohead, Pearl Jam, Muse... this album has been praised by the people who listen to it wisely since it features immense technique and is superior to all those damn bands above... maybe Radiohead can be liked more than Porcupine... but if you give this album a 2, what do you give Kid A? A 1? Or a 3?

I'm not in agreement, for me Motorhead are boring, I prefer Kyuss... nu metal draws from Korn and that's it, they invented it, being vaguely inspired by the Red Hot. Motorhead and Metallica are something else. Pantera are somewhat related to Korn... so are Helmet...
