For example, if you’re a listener of prog rock, punk, classical, elektro or anything else, I don’t think you turn to the radio, so why would you do that with rap? 3) Believing that rappers and beatmakers are idiots is idiotic because since rap was created, more or less the first recording should be "Superrappin'" by Grandmaster Flash (1979), up until the late '90s, you can consider the beatmakers as those who have listened to more music than anyone else. People like Marley Marl, Eric B, Bomb Squad, Flipmode Squad, DJ Premiere, Afrika Bambaataa, Dr. Period, RZA have listened to more music than you, me, and all of us combined will ever listen to in our lives. 4) Rap is also listened to by those who make the music you enjoy.
