I meant in the sounds! Example? Bonus Track. The sun and the moon (Black Celebration), Corrupt indeed (Violator). The choirs of Peace strongly evoke the period of Some Great Reward and also A Broken Frame, Little Soul (Exciter), and I included PTA because the work is done more or less in the same way and by the same people in the same studio, and this means a lot to us. Anyway, that's how I see it, and I don't understand this negative obsession from almost everyone about this work, which at a compositional level is above some of the early DM albums that I love and have always loved.

I want to clarify that I sent the review on 19/04 last night and there was no review related to SOTU in the Debaser database. However, it’s normal since the album is officially released today; I, however, received the Deluxe box on Saturday through a friend of mine who works at EMI. I don’t know what to say!

I read the whole review, it starts off well, it seems like you have someone in front of you who really knew Curtis! And then?..! The usual things, including inaccuracies!

Wow, so many comments, I feel like crap! Great review anyway.

I completely agree that we can discuss politics online; otherwise, we’d really be in trouble. The fact is, I’ve always seen this site as a reference for music reviews, and now it seems like everything is being thrown in, which honestly I don’t like. However, since the internet is free, just like this site, it’s not up to me to decide what should or shouldn't be posted—it's just a matter of personal taste, especially considering there are tons of sites dedicated to political discussions. What I wanted to say more precisely was about the number of posts for a political book; if it were an album, no one would care, or almost no one. Okay, I’ll try to accept this change on Debaser in my personal tastes.

Sure, all these comments about iTalian politics on a music review site are really pathetic. Yes, I'm commenting too, but I would have preferred to talk about music. That said, nothing takes away from the great review by Sfasciacarrozze of the only somewhat honest Italian politician!

Nice review, and congrats on your consistency and conviction. Like you, I am a family man, and every now and then, some dreams have come true a bit like they did for you, see Christian Death about a year ago, Suicide, Bauhaus, etc. I am lucky to live near Milan, and so with the excuse of last-minute reunions, I've had the chance to see bands whose best periods I had missed! I completely understand everything you said in the review and what you must have felt! Great!

Heard many times, it's not a masterpiece, but there are those three songs that are amazing! They leave you breathless, Brett is a survivor, and he does it in style, in my opinion unique in his genre. The 3 songs? Back to you, The empresse, and a different place!

Listened to at least 4 times, it seems nice, but then it deflates into the monotony of the singing, especially the arrangements, and finally the lyrics! I expected better. It says something sacred, "I CCCP non ci sono più" unfortunately!!!
