Rowland S. Howard Pop Crimes
Voto:
I would say it's a great album, very warm and cursed, an album full of 30 years of experience. Rowland has been, in my opinion, a great artist, perhaps lacking a certain personality; he could have stood up to his mate Cave. It's an album that absolutely needs to be listened to.

I completely agree, both with the album that will never find the right words to be described and with the review, which may not explain or elaborate enough, but clearly conveys where you want to go. This album is so immense and perfect that it doesn't need explaining; it needs to be listened to. Even with the first listen on YouTube of the live version of "Coney Island" from this summer, I was dazzled, and then listening to the entire album drove me into ecstasy. The best in Italy for quite a while!!!

Perhaps I didn't explain myself well; what I meant to say is that unfortunately today (and I’m in it too) we have the ability to listen to many more albums than before, and we all know the medium, which leads us to draw conclusions that are not truthful because we don't give the right amount of listening time. I also agree that you don't have to like it, and I've experienced it too — loving an album and then a few years later being disappointed by it. With this new Interpol album, after the first three listens, I almost completely agreed with this review, but then the songs naturally revealed themselves, as other comments have shown. And honestly, whether people like it or not, I don't care about this album; I like it. Maybe it’s not a masterpiece, but some tracks deserve it!

An album needs to be listened to, listened to, listened to, listened to, listened to, listened to, and maybe even listened to again. It's easy to jump to hasty conclusions; gone are the days when you would buy CDs or LPs, and since you paid for them without even a preview, you never stopped listening to them because you were afraid of wasting your money. And there, after countless listens, you would shout with joy for not having been wrong this time! How many bands I discovered blindly like that; now everything is easier, downloads, a quick first listen, a more convinced second one, and maybe you don't even make it to the third. Then people write or comment on reviews without understanding a thing. Stop!

I completely agree with Sickman 84, I can't stand barricade either; it's just out of tune! And the other two along with Lights are at least a 4. I was getting worried, thinking I was sick or had a different version of this album!

Well, I don't really agree; there is something positive about it. I've already listened to it about fifteen times and I haven't gotten bored. To each their own, but it bothers me this pre-condemnation every time they release an album! If you can't stand them, just ignore them!

Beautiful review, and excellent album, I would say both courageous and brilliant at the same time! Great laibach!!!

Thanks for the news, although it's old now. If I had known, I would have gladly made a trip to Magnolia; I've wanted to see them live since I was 16! Maybe next time... who knows!!!
