Perfect review. Critique just right and informative about the true value of the bootleg. Congratulations.

Speed is indeed relative, but in a band with a hard sound, it holds its significance... However, what I don’t agree with is that the factor of friendship has prevailed: technically, he is different from Smith and from Murray, but when considering everything, they are equivalent. Then everyone highlights what strikes them the most. On a compositional level, Gers has had a very strong influence, and the numerous songs that bear his signature demonstrate that. The same cannot be said for the "historical" Murray.

For gbrunoro. Do you really think the Irons just picked a simple guitarist friend? You see, he’s really good: faster but also dirtier than Smith, and at a technical and compositional level, he has made a strong contribution to the evolution of the Maiden sound. He’s not Steve Vai, but he’s a very valid guitarist. For carloirons: The undisputed leader of the group has always been Harris, while Bruce is the frontman of the band.

Do you find the beginning of Fates Warning boring? I think it’s fantastic! Gers' arpeggio and Murray's classy solo... I get it: you prefer the harder and more dynamic Iron Maiden tracks. I, on the other hand, enjoy the great blend of atmospheres and dynamism they infuse into the songs.

Hi Adriano, sorry for replying only now. I am not from Rome (a wonderful city) but from Castelvetrano Selinunte, a town in the province of Trapani. I return the esteem because I have carefully read many of your posts and especially your introduction. In this case, however, I do not agree with you. I understand your reasoning and your skepticism. The fact is that I am not very informed about Adams' "fascist" political positions, but it would surprise me that a "socialist" like Roger Waters had a hypothetical reactionary sing parts of The Wall live in Berlin (a distinctly antifascist album). That he supported Bush in the electoral campaign? I genuinely couldn't say. However, I don't believe in judging an album by the political profile of a musician (I’m a leftist democrat). I can understand the skepticism regarding his productions (and I was skeptical too), but this album is capable of creating beautiful atmospheres. I have read the lyrics of the songs in this album: nothing transcendental, romantic and nostalgic lyrics that often fall into "sentimentality" and the banal; however, nothing fascistoid. The musical arrangement, on the other hand, is distinctly superior to that of the original songs (vocal interpretation included). The strength of this album is its atmosphere. I can tell you that even here it is sometimes sappy, but much less than in the originals.

I don't like No Prayer: Public Enema Number One, Bring Your Daughter... to the Slaughter (except for the solo), Assassin, and Mother Russia. I do like Fates Warning, Run Silent Run Deep, and No Prayer for the Dying. The others range from decent to good.

It will be... For me, the worst of Maiden is No Prayer for the Dying. Virtual XI has the problem (as does The X Factor) of being too repetitive (I would cut at least five minutes here and there) and Blaze's voice in the heavy parts. What are the songs you don’t like?

Hi Adriano. Have you heard THIS album? I often find Adams to be somewhat banal too, but this album is an exception for me. What criticisms would you have of THIS album?

Is it really superior to the Maiden albums from that period? For me, those albums are excellent musically; the only issue was the vocals, which were too weak.

If I hadn't read your reviews beforehand, I would say that you haven't noticed two particular factors that have immensely elevated our class. This album is arranged by MICHAEL KAMEN and produced by PATRICK LEONARD. Two true giants. I usually snub Adams as well, but this album completely transforms Adams' songs and has a monstrous atmosphere. Furthermore, I would like to emphasize that it is APPARENTLY not very complex and simple: in reality, there is an incredible amount of fine work behind it.
