Sorry, but the comparison between a 99posse concert and a "red" demonstration is a bit far-fetched. I mean, let’s not confuse music with politics. The 99posse address these themes in their contexts, but I don't think it's the same thing. I've always hated those who speak directly and insistently about politics through music. This is MY opinion, of course, but I think it’s right that way. Rock'n'roll doesn’t lean to the right or the left.

Personally, I've always found them useless. I’ve always seen them as characters, actually, Kubain WAS THE CHARACTER, who inspired the youth of the time. Musically, I’ve always hated them, and when I hear people say that thanks to them grunge was born... ummmhh... it really makes me want to punch said fool. The only song I considered decent is "Smells Like Teen Spirit," and after that, it's a big nothing. They’ve never engaged me and I’ve always found them annoying. The only album that remained untouched after the “Nirvana-album-cleanup-from-my-pers onal-discography” is just for that one song. The rest I hate, just like I hate them, by the way.
