The problem is whether we want to acknowledge that they have EVOLVED! Negatively for many, but it is still an evolution. Now the Metallica's technique compared to 20 years ago has certainly improved, dear. Unfortunately, they haven't showcased it in the studio for a while (but live they remain among the greatest in the world). First of all, Devon, give me the explanation of "mediocrity." On a scale from 1 to 10, mediocrity is a 5.
