Black Sabbath featuring Tony Iommi Seventh Star

Hey Sfasciacarrozze, I read your comment on "Fused." I also think that in this album (even though it has little to do with Sabbath) you can feel that "emotional intensity" that seems to be often lacking in today's rock.

Yes, it's true. By flipping the word GOD upside down, you get the word DEVIL (stylized, of course; these are subliminal messages, not advertisements). However, this piece of rock history deserved a more thorough review. The cover is a tribute to Satan, but it's fabulous just the same. Art is art; it doesn't know political biases or religious bigotry. You might not like it, but that's a different matter for discussion.

The review hits the mark. And it's not easy to convey the idea of a sonic revolution in just four lines...

Taste cannot be disputed. I'm sorry to 'raise my voice,' but THIS ALBUM IS ANYTHING BUT MEDIOCRE. In fact, it continues to be one of the great classics among today's 'metalheads' even twenty years later (see the Metal Shock ranking from three years ago; I will look it up for my own knowledge). Get better informed.

The Iommian riff deserves this and a thousand other wafts of incense. However, it must be admitted that although "Seventh Star" is a classy album, the Sabbath have released masterpieces of even greater stature. There, perhaps this needed to be said..
Mudvayne Lost And Found

I already hated Slipknot fiercely when LD50 came out, so I underestimated the potential of these brainy crazies. The truth is different: this "Lost and Found" is top-tier Nu Metal in terms of arrangements, creativity, sounds, and aggravated compositional madness. I haven't been this impressed since "the Sound of Perseverance" by the late Chuck Schuldiner.

The absolute masterpiece of the new Sabbath
