Great review, but I don't agree with many things: in my opinion, this album is superior to the previous one, "Power Windows." The track "Force Ten" has never excited me, just like "Time Stand Still," while I find "Open Secrets" exceptional and "Second Nature" and "Lock and Key" engaging with beautiful choruses. I do agree with "Turn the Page," truly excellent, featuring a masterful bass part, and "Mission," which has an instrumental section where Lifeson creates one of his most beautiful solos in my opinion.

I rated the album too low! I'm raising it.

Great review, I enjoyed reading it! I don't know the CD because I prefer to listen to the more acclaimed and famous Priest albums first, and not being a metalhead, when I listen to it, I won't care if it's metal or not. In fact, many metalheads are very closed off to many musical genres. What a shame! They miss out on so much great music!
Devin Townsend Terria

this is a great album but with one flaw, which is having exceptional tracks in the first part and some a bit lengthy and boring in the second! Anyway, Devin Townsend is almost always a guarantee of original, quirky music (thanks mostly to his voice) and quality.

just for digging up this record you deserve a 5, anyway excellent and precise review. I adore this album, even though I've only known it for a few months. Let's say it was a bit of the soundtrack of mid-summer! Everything you said is perfect. The guitarist Lenny Cordola really shines on this album, his solos in "pleasure palace" and "lookin for strange" are memorable, where the rhythm section also lets loose. The chorus of "hearts of the world" is incredible to sing at the top of your lungs (a true anthem), you're right, a song like that would bring down stadiums. Everything is perfect (maybe just a little flat on "call my name," but it has its reason to exist), although for me the track that moves me the most is "jealous heart" with that dramatic keyboard intro and the bombastic chorus... Sorry if I often ramble, but when reviewing an album I love, I can't hold back.
Linkin Park Hybrid Theory

The same comment made for Jack Darko applies to Gallagher as well. They are musically ignorant kids who have listened to dozens of bands that don't go back before 2000 (if they're lucky, they go back to Nirvana's Nevermind), all strictly new, and so these kids believe they are experts and throw around phrases like (he revolutionized rock, paladins of nu-metal, and various nonsense). The only thing you can do is recommend them good music and make them understand the crap they’ve said. Then again, tastes are subjective, and Linkin Park can be likable, but here we’re not discussing tastes, but the musical nonsense they’re spouting. The review, from what I’ve read, doesn’t contain any atrocious claims (except when it compares Rage to Linkin). Anyway, I don’t feel like reading it all, so I won't vote.

Come on, don't treat him badly; he’s still quite young and it's normal for him to get excited if he listens to Placebo (having listened to little music before them). I'm not giving you a passing grade because otherwise you'd become complacent. The review is a bit banal, but you can improve. One of the secrets is not to be fanatical, to avoid too many repetitions, and not to do a simple track by track (that is, don’t make a stupid list of all the songs on the album saying this one sounds like this, that other one, this is wonderful, etc.). Today, I want to play the annoying little professor!

As usual, great review, and I agree with Fidia in saying that you know a lot! You are the living encyclopedia of brutal death and you make even those who listen little to this genre passionate!

a somewhat fanatical review. I agree that the album is beautiful, an almost masterpiece.
