Sergio Martino L'allenatore nel pallone
Voto:
a solid 5-star film, the jokes are hilarious to say the least, here they really try to make you laugh and they succeed perfectly; I know every line from the movie by heart! It's ridiculous to talk about technique and shots in films like these, and especially to compare it to the various masterpieces of cinema...
Peter Weir Picnic A Hanging Rock
Voto:
truly an unsettling and visionary film. very beautiful!
Peter Jackson The Lord Of The Rings
Voto:
The film is beautiful for the special effects and the settings; however, it is certainly not a masterpiece. On the other hand, the book "The Lord of the Rings" is a masterpiece of twentieth-century literature, confined to the fantasy genre, whereas in reality it launched the trend. Yet the book keeps itself apart, and above all, Tolkien emerges as the only credible heir to ancient epic!
Ayreon Into The Electric Castle
Voto:
Personally, I think it's a work that's too contrived and, above all, scattered. Ayreon had enchanted me with his first album, The Final Experiment; I find this latest work a bit too self-congratulatory, having all the strengths and weaknesses of these kinds of concept albums with so many guests. I saw The Final Experiment as more genuine. Anyway, nothing to say, the album is nice, 3.5.
Stanley Kubrick Full Metal Jacket

The genre of this film isn't really my thing, but this movie is a rare exception!
Woody Allen Manhattan
Voto:
for me this is woody allen's masterpiece, I prefer it to the equally beautiful "Annie Hall." Woody Allen manages to brilliantly blend comedy and drama, never falling into the trap of taking himself too seriously or descending into the grotesque. Dante Cruciani, the line you mentioned is one of the lines that made me laugh the most during my first viewing, I couldn't stop, and overall among the Allen films I've seen, this one contains the most memorable lines!
David Lynch Inland Empire
Voto:
I trust good Lynch, so I hope your judgment is wrong. However, he is a director for whom it seems superficial to stop at a first viewing or judgment of the film. For the rest, I consider "Mulholland Drive" one of the most beautiful films of recent years and one of my all-time favorites: visionary, dreamlike, and unsettling. "Lost Highway," while acknowledging its greatness, I find a bit confusing and less fluid than Mulholland... (my limitation). Nonetheless, he is an exceptional director, perhaps among the best Western directors currently in circulation.
Pink Floyd Atom Heart Mother
Voto:
Kraut, what’s wrong? Are you feeling defensive? Why are you bringing up punk in a Pink Floyd album, what the hell does that have to do with anything? I’m opening the nomination for krautonocciola as a human case! Let’s see if the human counter comes around here!
Nosferatu The Prophecy

Jethro Tull Aqualung
