Steven Spielberg Schindler's List

here you have provided the right definition, excellent tradesman, indeed among the best, but in my opinion, everything stops there.
Stanley Kubrick The Shining

Kubrick is truly the aesthetician of cinema, technically flawless films, with a great atmosphere. I think King didn't like it much since he criticized Kubrick a lot, and often those who have read the book say that the film is inferior. I don't know; that doesn't change the fact that it is technically impeccable— a master.
Tobe Hooper The Texas Chainsaw Massacre

I like the remake, and unfortunately, I haven't seen the original!

Not much to say, the film is beautiful and touching, excellent choice of black and white. Spielberg, however, is a bit of a pain for me; many of his films, including this one, are created due to market pressures and logic, and in the end, no matter how beautiful the film is, the final judgment won't be the best, in fact, I won't rate it.

I add, to avoid misunderstandings, that I’m not saying the film is commercial (after all, I like many commercial films), I just don’t see it as a spontaneous creation desired by Spielberg!!!

Robert Zemeckis Ritorno al futuro

I must say I love this film, even though I consider Zemeckis a director in the service of the American government, with his films serving as a pretext to export an overly positive and inflated image of the United States. That said, I find this film and the entire Back to the Future trilogy simply fantastic, especially because it marked my childhood. It's an ironic, fun, and adventurous way to depict time travel. It's a real joy to watch parts 1 and 2 and spot all the details and references to the previous episodes, highlighting a well-crafted and well-produced effort. Great Martin, great Biff, great Doc, great Jupiter!!!!

I hadn't read Morgan's message; in fact, this is the beauty of the entire trilogy. Watching the 2nd and 3rd means not understanding the characters, lines, and context at all, precisely because there is a strong attention to detail and also a kind of linguistic slang created by the film itself. Therefore, it is appreciated by watching it from the beginning. Of course, we must consider that many of us still see it through the eyes of the teenager and the child who dreamed and laughed until he cried thanks to this film!

Symphony X V: The New Mythology Suite

Indeed, the flaw is that Romeo's solos and the instrumental parts seem self-contained, and this is precisely the mistake that is made. Because, upon first listens, I too thought that Romeo's solos were shot out at lightning speed and were self-serving. However, I repeat, more listens provide a diametrically opposed view of the album. Besides, the group does not shy away from writing songs and melodic parts, which are anything but self-celebratory. In Dream Theater, I see self-indulgence and exaltation; here, I do not!
