In agreement with Bartleboom's analysis, I believe you took the wrong approach to the film; except for the fact that tastes are tastes, this is a simple portrait, not a denunciation, and I see a lot of truth in it. For example, the beautiful scenes of the family man who starts running and doing sports—how much truth there is in that everyday gesture...

I haven't seen this movie in many years, perhaps since middle school, so I'm going by feelings and rate it 3.5 (rounding up to 4), even though I'm sure that if I watched it again, I wouldn't go crazy for it like I did in the past. In fact, I consider this film primarily for teenagers or kids (not in a negative way), in the sense that it has some comic-book elements that I find interesting. It has beautiful atmospheres, and the actor's death during filming has created an aura of mystery and legend around the film.

The House of Lords are true masters in the realm of melodic hard rock; their first two albums are among the greatest masterpieces of the genre! I'm glad that the latest album is getting positive reviews, since the previous one had left some doubts. Sooner or later I will listen to it, but my advice is to listen to the self-titled "House of Lords" first and then "Sahara."
