But how can you say that this album is rather ugly? If it had been made by any other artist, it would be an absolute masterpiece, absolutely beautiful, and "letter to hermione" is one of Bowie's best ballads.

In Ghost, Goldberg is fantastic; she's good here too, fitting role, but this is a family flick that gets worse with each viewing. It's not bad (there are nice moments), but it's superfluous and a bit cliché.

The aor in many parts is not different from a certain "cultured" pop; unfortunately, it is snubbed by some somewhat flashy groups and because mixing pop melodies with hard rock is seen as somewhat blasphemous, both by certain lovers of hard rock and metal, and think about it from those who hate these genres. Yet, in many incarnations, it’s a very elegant genre with memorable melodies. Sure, it doesn't excite me like it used to, but I recognize the talent of bands like Journey, Giant, and Ten. Magnum are good, not exceptional, but good; I prefer "Wings of Heaven," as I’m not so fond of the production on this album. I give it a 3.5, and it’s still a must for anyone who wants to know one of the cornerstone groups of American melodic hard rock.

Man hasn't accelerated anything at all; what we need to worry about are the effects that industrial gas emissions have on human health because their impact on the environment is minimal. If the desert is advancing, it's due to deforestation, not greenhouse gases, and even the little story about the ozone hole has been downplayed. In fact, on some planets in the solar system, temperature increases are also occurring. We know very little about the sun's effect on our climate, geological cycles, and let's not forget the various changes that have happened in the past (the Sahara was a forest millennia ago). I'd be more concerned about certain artificial climate modifications than about greenhouse gases, which cause damage, of course, but perhaps we exaggerate a bit if we think that greenhouse gases completely alter the Earth's ecosystem.

starblazer go easy with the Alice Cooper of the 70s, it's not glam rock, more in the image perhaps, but not in the music.

There's no doubt that climate change is happening, but we know so little about the geological cycles that govern the Earth's climate that to say "the sole culprit is man" is exaggerated and anti-scientific. The solution to these problems, for people like Gore, do you know what it is? We all become poor and destitute, we obliterate the middle class, thus reducing pollution, decreasing the quality of life, because in the end, what is Gore’s solution? He doesn’t propose any; he plays the doomsayer, almost exhibiting a misanthropic hatred for humanity, seen as a virus and rhetorically (like bait and switch, nowadays insulting Bush is like shooting fish in a barrel), he cites Bush to gain the favor of some no-global or some Veltronian. Pathetic.
