Ivan Reitman Ghostbusters - Acchiappafantasmi

Bowman, who are you, Poletti's nephew? Is Poletti trying to give an intellectual tone? Do you even know what cinema is? Most of the time, cinema is entertainment. No one believes the nonsense you and Poletti spout anymore, not even the most fanatic critics. From this perspective, if we were to judge based on content, the majority of Totò's films (which have almost non-existent scripts) would be crap; "Some Like It Hot" is a light movie, and "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" is a children's film. This is a great movie; you might consider it garbage, and that's a matter of personal taste, which is not up for discussion. But to poorly judge a film just because it is entertaining and suitable for the mainstream means you don't know cinema at all. Your mental ramblings are of little use on Debaser.

I remember it as a beautiful blockbuster, one of the best of the 80s, definitely among the best fantasy films of that era. Here, the element of nostalgia has little relevance; it's objectively a nice movie suitable for all ages, with the scene featuring the gigantic final ghost, which whether you like it or not has become a part of cinematic history.
Stanley Kubrick [e Anthony Mann] Spartacus

It's Kubrick's least sincere film, but it's a beautiful film. If only contemporary historical films could reach the level of Spartacus, instead of those crap with embarrassing scripts and dialogues like Troy and its companions. Just comparing it to current films makes you realize that your vote, Poletti, is full of prejudice. Moreover, the blockbusters from the '50s and '60s, even though made for money, had an artistic dignity; just look at Ben Hur, historical-mythological films that we can only dream of today.

nice review, as a little kid I remember enjoying the TV show based on this movie, in addition to the legendary "i ragazzi della terza c."

I was reflecting that Italy and television have changed a lot; in those TV shows from the '80s, adolescence and youth were portrayed in a playful and carefree manner. Today, even in the most commercial products, there is always a more problematic look at adolescence or youth, and this says a lot...

Mel Gibson Braveheart - Cuore Impavido
Voto:
In my opinion, as someone has already mentioned, this deep-seated hatred towards Gibson stems from his being non-politically correct and from being accused of antisemitism, because Braveheart, from what little I remember, is not a masterpiece, but it cannot even be compared to blockbusters like Troy or a regular blockbuster.

Every screenwriter, dear Poletti, knows that everything has already been written and invented; this is the secret of a good screenplay, starting from this fundamental principle. The important thing is not originality, but how something is told. Therefore, your nonsense about technique and borrowed battles from films that I doubt you've seen is sheer nonsense, frankly useless and senseless statements. Should we then say that Pulp Fiction is terrible because it takes situations already seen in some Italian genre films from the '70s? By the way, I don't rate the film; I saw it too many years ago, a memory too hazy...

But how can you say that this album is rather ugly? If it had been made by any other artist, it would be an absolute masterpiece, absolutely beautiful, and "letter to hermione" is one of Bowie's best ballads.
