Meshuggah Nothing

As an album, it did not excite me as much as destroy erase improve, which I consider to be clearly superior, perhaps due to the almost jazz parts, the greater melodic presence; here it feels like stepping into a factory where iron is being worked. Cold, repetitive, mechanical, alien, and this is part of its charm!

masterpiece! Let’s say it’s more accessible than Lateralus, which is more intricate and psychedelic; nonetheless, both albums are immense!
Iron Maiden The Number Of The Beast
Voto:
The number of the beast is a historically important album, but regarding the musical aspect, I find it a bit overrated, especially when compared to the previous two albums with DiAnno, which I believe are vastly superior to this one. The Dickinson era has produced better works in my opinion. However, there are certainly beautiful and historic songs!

I completely agree with what you're saying. Let's say that from this album they start to be heavily influenced by Depeche Mode. Of course, for the metal fans of the group, it must have been a shock to listen to this album. Beautiful but a step back from that gem called "Draconian Times"; here everything changes: vocals, use of guitars and drums!

I only have the first three albums by Asia, which I find very beautiful. The covers, on the other hand, are very nice, but that comes down to personal taste. Of course, if covers with illustrations are annoying, it also means that modern man has lost a bit of imaginative capacity. Anyway, let’s leave aside these philosophical discussions about the dullness of contemporary humanity. Great review!

I read the review! Congratulations Ocram, it's perfect! Clear, full of news and references, and never boring! I agree with you on the album rating!

Alright, just leave it be, Dexter. Someone who makes comments like that is at least 14 years old, or at least I hope for your sake; otherwise, you're in pretty bad shape!

I haven't read the review yet because it's too long. A particular album. For those who know Kreator thrash, this album might be surprising; in fact, in many parts, it's more rock than metal. Endorama, Chosen Few, and Everlasting Flame are stunning tracks, especially Chosen Few and Everlasting Flame, which are among my all-time favorites. An album that absolutely deserves to be rediscovered; it can bring pleasant surprises even to those who don't listen to metal.

What can I say, Journey captivated me with "Infinity" thanks to the incredible "Lights," "Wheel in the Sky," and "Patiently" (just to name a few). They partially disappointed me with "Departure," a beautiful album but personally lacking soul and feeling too contrived. In short, I still don’t know their AOR period, which I’ve heard starts right with this album that many consider the masterpiece of this band. I’ll remedy that. If many say it’s better than "Infinity," then it must really be a masterpiece; plus, I really enjoy AOR.
