This is definitely a good gothic metal album.
Then, in my opinion, they gradually became trivialized along with the whole genre.

I will go against your opinion, but in my opinion, Danzig's solo career is negligible. Lucifuge, which you point out as a masterpiece, I bought on vinyl at its release and then sold it some time later. After the Misfits, I think he became a poser, all muscles and satanic clichés. Great writing, though.

I've heard a few things about them, but they didn't impress me at all, quite the opposite.
I'll try to listen to this, although I have to say I'm very skeptical.
Criticizing everything around them is just too easy, and I'll refrain from doing so.
