Steven Spielberg Schindler's List

Yes, tabba, I also know about Steven's Zionist inclinations, but here we are talking about the film and in this film I personally don't see anything related to Zionism.
P.S.: Being on the side of the Palestinians, it also bothers me greatly that antisemitism (which must be strongly condemned by all means) is confused with anti-Zionism, which may or may not be shareable.

Galakordi, your opinion is respectable but, nevertheless, I really can't understand where the movie would be Zionist. I think about it, I try hard, but I just don't see anything at all that has to do with Zionism. To me, you have written something that is not true or at least inaccurate.

Thank you all for the comments and criticisms that I will definitely take into consideration.
I repeat that my intention was less to talk in detail about the film and more to provide a prompt for a discussion on how Lovecraftian this work is, which I find absolutely fascinating.
I'm glad many of you feel the same way.
@Hetzer, speaking of Dagon, have you by any chance seen "Dagon la mutazione del male?"
An equally mind-bending film as In the Mouth of Madness.
Best regards to all.

Of course, the judgment on Essi Vivbono is purely personal.

Thank you all.
@ Occulto: maybe, but They Live is a decidedly mediocre film, if only for the fact that Roddy Piper is in the lead role.
I have nothing to say about the other films.
The Lord of Evil, in fact, is a great movie, made with very little money.
Also, The Thing is beautiful.
But what I like most from Carpenter is definitely In the Mouth of Madness. Good night everyone.

Are you banning me just because I expressed my rightful judgment on the album? Allow me, Lovelorn, but you either have a rather strange concept of democracy or a late adolescent fanaticism for anything that might belong to a certain music genre.

Well, I see that at least we have similar tastes when it comes to movies ;)

No Bjork, of course not, but you are completely free to give me a zero if you want. Don’t think that I took it personally; I was just explaining what my intent was, which was to spark the curiosity of those who haven’t seen it and, at the same time, to propose a discussion about Lovecraft and how much the film may come close to his writings, which, of course, I don't believe any director could ever faithfully recreate through the camera...

Plot, setting, Carpenter's or King's story, I repeat I wanted to leave out all these things.. ;)

I reply to you right away, Bjork, thanking you for the comment.
Sorry if you didn't like the review, but I don't think that detailing the plot would have helped much.
That's what specialized site reviews are for.
My intent was to concentrate the film's nerve center, which I consider one of the best horror achievements, into a few but effective words, also proposing a discussion on the figure of Lovecraft and how much the film can approach the genius of his stories.
If I didn't succeed, oh well. Have a good evening.
